Our services are reverent and structured, centred on the faithful preaching of God’s Word.
You won’t be asked to do or say anything. The typical format includes:
- A hymn from Gadsby’s Hymnbook
- A Bible reading from the King James Version (KJV)
- A second hymn
- A time of prayer led by the minister
- A third hymn
- The sermon
- A final hymn before the service closes
Hymnbooks and KJV Bibles are available in the pews for visitors to use.
We understand that entering a new place of worship can feel unfamiliar. Whilst many of our members dress formally, everyone is welcome just as they are! Our female worshippers wear head coverings (usually hats) in accordance with the scripture in 1 Corinthians 11. However there is no enforced dress code.
Children
Children are encouraged to remain with their parents throughout the service. If a child becomes unsettled, parents are welcome to use the adjacent schoolroom, where the service is relayed.
After the Service
Please stay around to say hello, as it would be good to meet you!
Listen Online
If you’d prefer to listen before attending, the audio from our services is livestreamed and available via our website.
